We're all about bringing the thrill of the game to people of all skill levels in a fun, supportive, and community-oriented environment. KYLE ASHBY
PRESIDENT/CEO
Kyle is a long time community organizer and deeply committed to bringing people together in any way that works. He discovered Dodgeball in 2019, kept it going in Portland (safely) during COVID, and now plays on several travel teams across the US.

CHALO VILLEGAS
QUEER REC LEAGUE MANAGER
Chalo has volleyball in his blood but then one fateful day someone lured him to the dodgeball court with cookies and he’s never looked back. A terrifying arm, a dazzling smile, and very excited about bringing new people onto the court.
Chalo runs our Monday Rec League since May 2024. In his spare time he studies Nursing at OHSU.

JACKIE CRUZ
A seasoned veteran to the sport, Jackie brings over decade of dodgeball memories and experience to the org in both recreational and competitive play styles. In 2024 she was selected for Team USA on the Mixed cloth team competing in the World Dodgeball Championships held in Graz, Austria.

DANIEL SILVA
Daniel moved to Portland in 2021 and started playing dodgeball the next year. He's played sports all his life and immediately loved the Dodgeball PDX community. He loves being competitive and helping others learn and grow in the sport. Win or lose, it's all about having fun.

SAMI KING (She/Her)
Sami has been playing with DodgeballPDX since January 2023. You can hear her laughter from a mile away, on and off the court. She loves helping players rediscover their fun and competitive spirit that may have been lost in adulthood.
Goal for 2025:
Host two fun events or activities for the DodgeballPDX community outside of regular play.

NAT REASOR
Nat is a native Texan who moved to Portland during the pandemic. He joined dodgeball eager to make a friend or two, but had no idea all the friends he'd make on and off the court. Joining dodgeball has been one of the highlights of his move to the PNW.
Goal for 2025:
Help people of all ages rediscover their youth and make lasting friendships.

SAM EISENBERG
Sam enjoyed sports for the first time in life when he tried out dodgeball in early 2023. He's been hooked ever since. He joined the board in hopes of helping other former band geeks and theater kids find a welcoming place to have fun while getting competitive.
Goal for 2025:
Host a tournament in PDX to give more local players a chance to play at a competitive level.

SETH AUSTIN
New to dodgeball, starting summer of 2023, Seth has worked with and for several nonprofits in their life, and brings extra experience to our amazing board team. Seth loves team building and the camaraderie found in our rec league.
Goal for 2025:
Set up a fundraising event and establish dodgeball games in East Portland as well as the economically disadvantaged areas in the city.

PATRICK TRAN
Patrick is passionate about queer recreational sports and inclusive spaces. He has been playing dodgeball since 2019 and has experience in organizational leadership and fundraising. His goals include securing nonprofit status for Dodgeball PDX and fostering community partnerships.
